Misha's Vineyard is on the South Island in the Southern most growing area in New Zealand. This has turned out to be a perfect spot for growing grapes. Don Juan Toscanin started producing wine in 1894. The first wines released by the family was 1908; In 1982, the winery underwent major changes. The winery moved from making table wines to fine wines. In 1995, the winery started getting recogninized internationally for its wines. 1997 brought the first exports of the Toscanini wines. The Atlantic Ocean palys a huge role in the climate. Warm days and cool nights mean the grapes have the ideal gowing conditions. The wines produced are highly expressive of the Varietal. All wines are from estate owned vineyards. A true gem in our portfolio.
