We trace our history back to the establishment of a Brewery at Kasauli by Edward Dyer in 1855. He was the India’s brewing pioneer who brought to this sun-drenched land of ours the bliss of a real thirst quencher – the modern beer, to refresh and pep up a people hanging over in sweltering clime that is so peculiar to this part of the World. He realized for the first time that there were a few spots on earth where a really good drink was more welcome.
Mohan Meakin, the present owner of Kasauli and Solan breweries and distilleries, has several liquor brands including Old Monk rum; whiskies including Solan No. 1, Diplomat Deluxe, Colonel's Special, Black Knight, and Summer Hall; gins such as London Dry; and Kaplanski vodka, all produced at various production facilities across India.
Introducing "Jamun" the Himalayan Dry Gin that redefines the gin experience with its distinctive infusion of Himalayan Juniper, also known as the Indian blackberry. Crafted in small batches at the renowned Kasauli Distillery, nestled at an altitude of around 6000 feet, this gin embodies the essence of the Himalayas. Jamun Himalayan Gin is produced here.
